Mason Witzel is an illustrator and designer based in Colorado. Working by hand with media primarily of graphite and ink, his artworks hone in on the gravity of subject framing. He zeroes in on striking a balance between deep black and stark white, unearthing the world of grays that lie in between.

He applies this same focused lens to his design work. Mason often turns first to pencil and paper, sketching ideas before adapting them to the digital plane - offering an authentic creative launchpad, more freedom to the brainstorming process, and ultimately, an abundance of original direction for his clients. With a design portfolio ranging from startups to Fortune 500's, he excels in pushing the boundary of new, interesting art while remaining marketable.

With 8+ years of industry experience, Mason currently works with dozens of independent clients through his own design studio, Mas Artworks LLC, while also serving as freelance designer/creative and art director for agencies C/olabworks, Fadduh, and Greenlight Strategy, spanning logo and branding design, social media, packaging, digital illustration, web projects and presentation deck formatting. Mason previously served as Creative Director at School: A Project Worldwide Agency for 3.5 years. While there, he worked closely with clients such as MTV, Hershey's, the Beam Suntory International portfolio, Kellogg's and Wilson Sports.
