OPTIMISM CITY

Welcome to Optimism City: A story-illustration commissioned by Optimism, representing their vision: a new type of community designed to reward public goods and build a sustainable future for Ethereum. 🔴✨ 

The cryptocurrency blockchain front-runner commissioned a series of digital artworks to express their vision for a faster and more efficient future. The project comprised of illustrating a brand new, futuristic city - the Ecosystem, five NFTs depicting certain buildings within, and two additional scenes that take place within our new world.

OPTIMISM CITY LANDMARKS

Within the ever-growing OP City, there are five landmarks that represent different aspects and interests of those in the community: Town Hall: Governance; Bank: Currency; Museum: Culture; Stadium: Gaming and E-Sports; Maker Space: Art.

Each illustration began with a sketch to serve as the skeleton, then the image was rendered via digital painting.

Two Rivers Marketplace will soon be a thriving shopping center at the heart of a bustling intersection in West Greeley, Colorado. Prior to groundbreaking, the project needed two illustrations to convey the overall layout of the lot, as well as the atmosphere and vibe this city center would share with its patrons. Using only overhead survey maps as my guide, I brought the marketplace to 3-dimensional life, designing the architecture style, landscaping and building detail solely by my own ideation.
